The Poodle is the second most intelligent breed of all dogs. They strive for your affection and are great family friends. With the adoption of our first Toy Poodle, these traits became evident and that is why we decided upon breeding. We wanted to share our experience and love of Toy Poodles.
In early 2014 we adopted our Havanese and raised them in our home. When fully matured we introduced them into our breeding program and have successfully produced the Havanese purebred and Poodle purebred mixture, making the havapoo. They are a favorite for families with children or without.
The Havanese is a newer breed so it hasn’t developed as many negative genetic issues as some of the older breeds. The Havanese is a clown and very playful and a little more independent than the Poodle. The two breeds together are a perfect mix. We socialize our puppies with our grandchildren and everyday occurrences thus try to send you home with a well rounded puppy.
I am an in home breeder and love having puppies to care for and love. I enjoy meeting the adoptive families and knowing that we are sending our puppies to good homes with families that will care for and love them the way we do makes it worth all the work and sleepless nights. Everyone is so excited to have a new family addition and realizing we were a small part of that is very enjoyable to me. It makes it easier to let them go and helps keep me from acquiring a new puppy every year.
With the variety of males and females we have, some great combinations are anticipated. Our mothers are bred and the pups raised in our West Michigan home – not a kennel. This allows them to interact with us at all times. The pups {CKC, AKC & Dual registered} are lovingly cared for until sent to their forever homes. We welcome anyone to our home for a visit, especially if you are considering adopting a pup into your family. Our puppies are extensions of our family and we care for them like family. We provide shipment of pups with a puppy nanny we know and trust or we may meet somewhere if home pickup is not convenient. The services of a pet nanny can also be arranged. The nanny would fly with your baby and deliver to an airport near you. All puppies are guaranteed for one year, refer to our contract. The pups are vet checked and up to date on shots and wormer. All paperwork is provided when you pickup your puppy. We’re always happy to hear about your puppy experiences and are also available to answer questions about our family and their pups.
Our dogs and puppies are fed high quality food, Royal Canin mother/babydog. I also use Stella & Chewy’s and Instinct freeze dried raw food in their diet. This is a 4 & 5 star foods with meat being the 1st ingredient for their optimal health and growth. All of our dogs get small breed puppy food for the added nutrition offered. All of our dogs are up to date on their vaccines, heartworm and flea and tick guard. They are all very loved and a part of our family. At bedtime we have some that sleep with us, while others crash on dog beds or curl up next to each other for the night. Others prefer their own crate to sleep alone.
